What was this young Muslim girl’s, famous for appearance in a popular movie series, crime? She is having a male friend from other faith, that too Hinduism.
I did this subject of honor killing, here, and in that post it is shown that Islam sanctions honor killings i.e. if parents kill their off spring for fear that their children are going against Islamic beliefs like by marrying outside their faith or converting to other religion then they can not be punished. What we have here is another case of typical Islamic imperialist and feudal mindset if not honor killing, and the victim here is Afshan Azad who acted in the role of Padma Patil in Harry Potter series. So, Afshan Azad can be considered lucky.
Her brother raged, “Sort out your daughter! She’s a slag”. “Just kill her!”
Then, reading from the victim’s statement, the prosecutor added: ‘My father began saying he would do it, a reference to kill her, as he did not want his sons to have her blood on their hands and he would do time for it. Then she began to feel very scared’. Father didn’t want his sons to go to prison but he would kill his daughter!
This incident came out in June itself and I put up this on a forum, sukh dukh, then. Later it was reported that she wanted to retract her statements to police because she loved her father and brother and I thought this case had been settled; but it looks like Police went ahead bringing the culprits to justice.

A Harry Potter actress fled her home after her father and brother threatened to kill her for going out with a Hindu man, a court heard yesterday.
Afshan Azad, 22, who appeared in the blockbuster movies as Padma Patil, was attacked and branded a ‘slag’ when Muslim relatives found out about her boyfriend.
The actress was so scared that she escaped out of her bedroom window and later fled her home city.
Police were called and her father, Abul Azad, 54, and brother, Ashraf, 28, were arrested and charged with making threats to kill her. The actress’s brother was also charged with assault.
But Miss Azad refused to testify and yesterday failed to turn up at their trial at Manchester Crown Court.
Instead Crown prosecutors decided to accept a guilty plea to assault by her brother while both men were formally found not guilty of making threats to kill.
Her father accepted to be bound over for £500 to keep the peace for 12 months.
Miss Azad played a witch who studied at Hogwarts School in the same year as Harry Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe.
She first appeared as her character, the identical twin sister of Parvati Patil, in Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire.
Richard Vardon QC, prosecuting, said the actress was ‘the victim of an unpleasant assault by her brother’ at the family home in Longsight, Manchester, in May.
He added: ‘The reason for the assault, apparently her association with a Hindu man, that apparently being disapproved of by her family who are Muslim.’
Mr Vardon said Abul Azad had been woken up by his son, Ashraf, shouting: ‘Sort out your daughter! She’s a slag.’
He went on: ‘He continued to further assault her, shouting, “Just kill her!”’
Reading from the victim’s statement, the prosecutor added: ‘My father began saying he would do it, a reference to kill her, as he did not want his sons to have her blood on their hands and he would do time for it.

Her father was said to have threatened to take her to Bangladesh and force her into an arranged marriage.
Miss Azad called the police but after making her statement, made it clear she did not want to take further action. ......

But what does Koran say on marriage laws? Muslim men can marry women of other faiths but Muslim women can not marry men of other faiths. Every law in Islam, disguised in the form of religious beliefs because they are embedded in Koran, aims at obliterating other religions and cultures. It is a one way street. Islamic system is a fascist system. Read these following verses:
Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind: That they may celebrate His praise. (YUSUF ALI, 2:221)
The adulterer shall not marry save an adulteress or an idolatress, and the adulteress none shall marry save an adulterer or an idolater. All that is forbidden unto believers. (Pickthall, 24:003)
This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good). (YUSUF ALI, 5:005)Islam having decreed that Muslim women can not marry men of other faiths, but if she is a fornicator then she can marry others because Muslim men are forbidden to marry fornicators (Get not confused because you might think that fornicators are stoned to death; fornicator is stoned to death if she was married or still in wedlock.). If some one thinks there is a get around these laws, Sharia law (here) equally states that any non Muslim man fornicating with a Muslim woman, married or un married, will be put to death. On the other hand, non muslim women captured in wars can be taken as sex slaves by Muslim women for reproductivity and her previous marriage to non muslim man gets annulled even if he is alive. MA khan writes, in Islamic Jihad:the legacy of forced conversions, imperialism and slavery, on page 102:
The female captives, in compliance with Quranic sanctions and prophetic traditions, were used as sex-slaves by their Muslim masters. Therefore, they did not only add to the growing Muslim population, but also became valuable tools for expanding the Muslim populace through procreation.
